12th edition of the non-competitive running event "Run and Walk by Night" organized by A.S.D. Amatori Podistica Terni. The race takes place through the streets of the city center, starting and ending in Piazza Europa, involving Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Tacito, Piazza Tacito, Via Mazzini and other streets of the historic center. The event is open to all running and power walking enthusiasts, with a route suitable even for non-competitive participants.
Notte Bianca dello Sport 2026
Gubbio (PG)
The Notte Bianca dello Sport, organized by the Associazione Leukos, will enliven the historic center of Gubbio on September 4 and 5, 2026, with sports events and activities for everyone. For the occasion, the historic center will be closed to vehicular traffic from 1:00 PM on September 4 to 2:00 AM on September 5, with parking and transit bans in numerous streets and squares, including Piazza Quaranta Martiri, Corso Garibaldi, Via dei Consoli, and Via Gattapone. The electronic gates of the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) will be closed from 1:00 PM on September 4 to 6:00 AM on September 5.
La Staffetta del Cuore

La Staffetta del Cuore is a non-competitive running event taking place from September 4 to 6, 2026, crossing Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche. The goal is to raise awareness and funds for type 1 diabetes research. The route starts in Bucine (AR) and ends in Ancona, touching towns like Sansepolcro, Città di Castello, Umbertide, Gubbio, Fossato di Vico, Fabriano, and Jesi. Each stage represents a step towards the prevention and treatment of type 1 diabetes. Two conferences on early diagnosis are also held during the event.
