A hiking route connecting Lake Piediluco to the Marmore Falls, following the paths of the Nera and Velino rivers through the Terni countryside. The trail retraces the ancient water route from the lake to the artificial waterfall created by the Romans in the 3rd century BC, when the Velino was diverted to flow into the Nera with a drop of about 165 meters. Along the way, you walk through woods, clearings and views of the Valnerina, with sections along the riverbanks and panoramic points over the waterfall. The itinerary combines the natural and historical elements that characterize this corner of Umbria, offering an interpretation of the landscape shaped by human intervention and the force of water.
