European Week for Waste Reduction 2026
Spoleto, varie sedi
Organised by Comune di Spoleto
From 21 to 29 November 2026 Spoleto is taking part in the European Week for Waste Reduction with a programme of initiatives on the theme "Design better, buy consciously, reduce waste": repair, reuse and a second life for objects. Citizens can share their own good environmental practice with a 30-second video: the good practices will be collected on an interactive map on the Municipality's website and the area with the most videos will receive the Spoleto Sostenibile SERR 2026 Award. On the calendar are the National Tree Day with workshops and tree planting, the #RICiCCAMI campaign on cigarette butts, the WEEE collection at MUST and the Spoleto Sostenibile Trekking with a final award ceremony. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Spoleto with Valle Umbra Servizi and ARPA Umbria.
