Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti e Biblioteca comunale "Giosuè Carducci", Spoleto
Organised by Comune di Spoleto
One hundred years ago the Spoleto-Norcia railway came into operation, a line that for decades connected the capital to the communities of the Valnerina. On Saturday 7 November 2026 Spoleto dedicates a day to it entitled "A track between memory and future", with public storytelling, memory and prospects for the area. In the morning, at 10 am, the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti hosts the opening of the programme. In the afternoon, at 4 pm, the Biblioteca comunale "Giosuè Carducci" inaugurates the documentary exhibition and presents the book "Le voci del treno". The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Spoleto.
