Christmas Festival - From the nativity scene to fraternity
Territorio comunale di Porano (TR)
The Christmas Festival "From the nativity scene to fraternity" animates Porano throughout the month of December, intertwining the magic of Christmas with the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi. The event is part of the project "Porano in the sign of Saint Francis", which celebrates the 8th centenary of the saint's death. Among the traditional appointments, the nativity scene representation in Piazza Carlo Alberto and the lighting of the Christmas tree stand out, along with moments of reflection and sharing inspired by the Franciscan message of fraternity.
The full program will be published on the website of the Municipality of Porano (comune.porano.tr.it/eventi). The initiatives take place in various locations of the municipal territory; in the past, the nativity scene representation was set up in Piazza Carlo Alberto.
