The Municipality of Perugia organizes a traveling outdoor cinema series, consisting of five evening screenings in various peripheral areas of the city. The initiative aims to promote culture and social aggregation, bringing cinema to liminal areas of the historic center. Screenings will take place from July 26 to September 11, 2026, starting at 9:00 PM.

Perugia (PG)
Series of outdoor traveling cinema in the municipality of Perugia, with free evening screenings in various neighborhoods and city parks. The program includes classic and contemporary films: from "Ritorno al futuro II" to "Un sacco bello", from "Gli incredibili" to "Tutti gli uomini del presidente", up to European films like "Music box" and "Mar Nero". The evenings are organized in collaboration with local associations.

Palazzo della Penna – Centro per le Arti Contemporanee in Perugia hosts an exhibition dedicated to the artist Stefano Bicini. The exhibition, promoted by the Municipality of Perugia, aims to enhance the human and creative journey of the author, highlighting the quality of his artistic research and his strong bond with the Perugia area. The initiative offers citizens and visitors an opportunity for cultural enrichment and knowledge of the artist's work, through an exhibition capable of highlighting his languages, expressive sensibilities, and testimonial value in the local and national artistic panorama.

Perugia is Open Venerdì returns to animate the historic center of Perugia on summer evenings. The event, organized by the Consorzio Perugia in centro and the Municipality, combines shopping, dining and live music in Piazza della Repubblica. Every Friday in August, starting from aperitif time, shops open, food stalls and live concerts at 9:30 PM. Four appointments with different bands to experience the beauties and commercial activities of the city.
Relocation of the weekly market of San Sisto
Perugia (PG)
The weekly market of San Sisto is temporarily moved to the parking area between Via Pergolesi and Via Albinoni. The move, necessary to allow the 'Sound Sisto Live' event to take place in Piazza Martinelli, concerns Thursday, 20 and 27 August 2026. The market will be active from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a ban on transit and parking in the affected area.
I QUARTETTI PER PIANOFORTE E ARCHI

An open-to-the-public concert series dedicated to the piano and string quartets of Antonín Dvořák. The event includes study and listening sessions from August 20 to 26, with introductory meetings on August 24 and 25 at 6 PM. The final concert takes place on August 27 at 7 PM, featuring the performance of quartets op. 23 and op. 87 by the Quartetto ARS ET LABOR (Christa Bützberger on piano, Sara Gianfriddo and Sayako Obori on violin and viola, Héloïse Piolat on cello). Afterwards, an aperitif with a tasting of local artisanal products.

The Municipality of Perugia and WINDTRE organize a free training course on Internet use, open to all ages. The meeting will be held on September 2, 2026 at ARCSin, via Pieveaiola 166/P in Strozzacapponi, starting at 7:00 PM. During the evening, we will discuss the opportunities of digital and the risks to be aware of, with practical examples and useful tips. Participants are invited to bring their own mobile phone to better follow the demonstrations.
Parchi da Favola – rassegna teatrale per bambini

Il Comune di Perugia organizza la rassegna teatrale gratuita "Parchi da Favola", rivolta a bambini e famiglie. Tre spettacoli teatrali si terranno in altrettante aree verdi delle frazioni di Cenerente, Ponte Felcino e Castel del Piano, con l'obiettivo di valorizzare gli spazi pubblici e favorire la partecipazione culturale dei più piccoli. L'iniziativa, affidata all'Associazione Culturale Le Onde A.P.S., prevede la narrazione di fiabe e racconti per stimolare creatività e immaginazione, promuovendo valori come l'inclusione e l'amicizia.
KUM! TEACHERS' PREVIEW - LIGHT AND WAVE: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO TEACH?

On September 8, 2026, at the Auditorium Capitini in Perugia, the teachers' preview of KUM! will take place, an event dedicated to reflecting on the meaning of teaching. The conference, titled "Light and Wave. What Does It Mean to Teach?", will feature the renowned psychoanalyst and essayist Massimo Recalcati. The event is sponsored by the Umbria Region, Città Sane, and the University of Perugia.

An evening of Latin music and good food at Lago Ritmo. The event includes dinner with platters, fried foods, pizza, water and wine at a cost of 20€ starting at 8:00 PM. After dinner, the Latin music continues: entry with a guest list is 8€ including a drink, while without a guest list it is 10€ including a drink. An opportunity to dance and have fun until late in the evening.
Puliamo il Mondo 2026 - XXXIV Edizione

Il Comune di Perugia aderisce alla XXXIV edizione di "Puliamo il Mondo", il più grande appuntamento internazionale di volontariato ambientale promosso da Legambiente. L'iniziativa si svolgerà dal 18 al 20 settembre 2026 in concomitanza con il World Clean-up Day dell'ONU. I volontari, muniti di kit di pulizia, saranno impegnati nella raccolta di rifiuti e nella cura del territorio comunale. Il luogo esatto dell'evento sarà comunicato successivamente in collaborazione con Legambiente Umbria.

L'esposizione, allestita presso la Biblioteca Augusta, offrirà un percorso tra opere e documenti che ne ripercorrono vita e attività. Visitabile da dicembre 2026 a febbraio 2027, la mostra rappresenta un'importante occasione di valorizzazione del patrimonio storico-artistico cittadino.
