Inauguration of the Eco Ape Sociale project
Via Filippeschi, Orvieto
Organised by Comune di Orvieto
The inauguration of the Eco Ape Sociale project takes place in Orvieto on 10 November 2026, in via Filippeschi. The initiative brings free, zero-emission home grocery delivery, with an electric ape travelling through the streets of the city. The project combines three goals: social inclusion, support for local neighbourhood shops and environmental sustainability. Groceries arrive at home at no cost to the customer and with no polluting emissions, a concrete help for those who have difficulty getting around and for neighbourhood shops. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Orvieto, which for the occasion has arranged specific traffic regulations on the street concerned.
