Ten years after the 2016 Central Italy earthquake, the widespread exhibition "Oro e Terra. Il Rinascimento della Valnerina" brings back to their places of origin over 170 works, documents and books recovered and restored by the Superintendencies. The exhibition involves Spoleto, Norcia, Ferentillo, Cascia, Vallo di Nera and Arrone and returns to the public a historical and artistic heritage that remained inaccessible for a long time after the earthquake. The inauguration takes place on 30 October 2026 at 11 am in the Sala del Consiglio Maggiore of the Palazzo Comunale of Norcia. The exhibition can be visited from 5 November 2026 to 31 March 2027 at the venues in Spoleto, Norcia and Ferentillo. The initiative is promoted by the Ministry of Culture and organised by the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio per l'Umbria with the Soprintendenza Archivistica e Bibliografica dell'Umbria, in collaboration with the VirArt ODV association and the Municipalities of Norcia, Spoleto and Cascia.
